You stole my heart, and you let me love you with it, and you made damn sure I knew where its home was.” “No matter how we came to be, we were and still are. I was perfectly happy with how Exodus ended but now that i finished with this story, i realized how much i craved and needed more of this world and my Frenchman and what a epic journey it was! Kate obliterated and broke my heart into million pieces with Flock and Exodus but with The Finish Line she healed me. The Finish Line is the story i didn’t think i needed. I was up till 3am reading and sobbing! And it was WORTH IT! SO WORTH IT! Worth waiting, crying and losing my sleep over. This was my most anticipated read of 2021 and wow Kate didn’t disappoint at all! This easily become my top read of this year. This is my last chance, and I have no intention of losing her again, but as the deception of my past starts to unravel and close in, shedding my humanity may be the only thing that can save us both. With the lies I’ve told, the life I’ve led, my mistakes are beginning to catch up with me, day by day, one by one.
